Understanding Merchant Graduation and Your Scorecard
All merchants upon joining the Groupon Marketplace are subject to both a Scorecard and a Merchant Graduation program. The two programs work together to ensure the best possible overall customer experience.
The Merchant Scorecard impacts Merchant Graduation tremendously and can prevent merchants from increasing a level and can even result in relegation in levels. In some instances, poor Scorecard metrics can result in an account remaining suspended and require additional review.
Navigating Merchant Graduation Levels
During the graduation process, your account is subject to a weekly Scorecard and the final Scorecard at the end of your Graduation cycle, or review date, is used to determine how your account will move through the Graduation process. Below is a breakdown of what to expect of your account at the time of review.
Level Increase: This occurs if your account has reached a minimum sales threshold and has maintained all green marks on the merchant Scorecard, and the merchant Scorecard is at or above 95%.
Level Holding: This occurs if your account does not hit 80% of the sales threshold but has maintained all green marks on the merchant Scorecard, and the merchant Scorecard is at or above 95%.
Level Decrease: This occurs if has one or more metrics in the red, or the merchant Scorecard is at or below 95%.
Extended Suspension: This occurs if your account has operational metrics that are below 25%. Please note, if your account is noted to be at this level three consecutive times within 90 days, it will be permanently disabled.
